Our Story.

It was the year celebrating the 200th Anniversary of our country. Their union started in an era of severe economic inflation due to the Vietnam war and Watergate.   Minimum wage in Nebraska in 1976 was $1.60

"All you need is love" carried a tune from the Beetles and Rocky rose from the box office.  Free spirits protested and sang out sentiments of 

Make Love, Not War.

They were ranching, Terri kicked off her nursing career and the two started a family.  Grandparents were 30 minutes either North or South of the ranch with gas at $.59 cents a gallon.

Tom Osborne led the Cornhuskers.

Thedford cheered for the Trojans.

Michael Jordan was 13.

Terri switched from steering Red Herefords to Black and Red Angus and later she became Nebraska's most loyal, cheering tour guide.

This iconic American advertising slogan that originally launched in 1992. It was created by the beef industry to promote eating beef.  Famous country music tune, deep voiceovers and a way of life. In 1976, $.89 for a pound of ground beef and $2-$3 a pound for a T-Bone Steak.
